| I recommend other nursing graduates like me to study medical transcription because of the "retrogression issue" in the nursing career here and abroad. It is nice for them to have a training that is in line with the course they've taken rather than getting a job such as being a call center agent that would not help them sustain the knowledge that they've learnt from their nursing school for years. |

| I studied medical transcription because of the growing number of nursing graduates. I find it hard to find work and studying medical transcription is a good option because it is related to my nursing profession. I also have an advantage because I'm already familiar with the terms and it's so much easier. I also consume less time on training. |

| What I like best about medical transcription is that it is very challenging. I develop and enhance my different skills such as listening, typing, hearing and memory! |

| I studied medical transcription because I want to try out other things but are still related to my profession. After graduating as a nurse, I haven't had any training in hospitals. Now, I'm trying medical transcription. It is very challenging. It's not just about transcribing but it also serves as a review on my part. It also imparts updates on nursing. I also want to help my family and be independent as soon as possible. Our professors are good and approachable. I'm also having fun with my typing lesson! |

| I would definitely recommend other nursing graduates to study medical transcription for them to have alternative career options which are still within the healthcare industry. What I like about MTC Academy is the friendliness and kindness of the staff which adds to the conduciveness of our learning environment and experience. |

| What I like best in studying medical transcription is that it enhances my knowledge in terms of medical terms and drugs that are unfamiliar to me. It also enhances my typing skills which I can use even at home and most of all, I encounter new words or terms that will surely help me in my nursing career. What I like about MTC Academy is that they are giving what we need. I like the lectures which are very helpful and the practice files where we apply our knowledge and typing skills. |

| Last
year, I was already thinking of switching careers
and i thought this would be great since I am a physician
therapist by profession although I was not able
to practice it. My main concerns at that time were
my incompetency with computers and my "less
than average" typing speed. Add to that the
demands of my job and I was really thinking if I
could make it somehow. After finishing the course,
i quit my job and I'm now presently working as a
medical transcriptionist for Accutype Medical Service
(AMS) for almost a year. |

| I
graduated from MTC Academy. Three months after (graduation),
I am about to start with home transcription and
I am thankful MTC Academy for the training and experience
they gave me. |

| Yes,
transcription is a lot more than just typing your
ABCs yet the training I had at MTC Academy, with
its competent instructors and state-of-the-art facilities,
has honed my skills and widened my knowledge on
areas deemed necessary for my newly chosen career,
making me a lot more confident that i could produce
quality work which is at par or even better than
my US counterparts. Now that I am enjoying the benefits
of a "fullpledged" MT, I leave it to the
academy for making me what I am today. |
