In 2001 Eugenio Gonzalez thought about putting up a school that would train medical transcriptionists- people who converted electronically stored voice data from medical professionals into written form. He was already running a medical transcription outsource business then and he saw its potential, so in 2003, he and a few partners put up MTC Academy.
